3"+ Limestone (Riprap or Oversized Limestone)

3"+ limestone, also known as riprap or oversized limestone, consists of large, angular limestone rocks that are typically 3 inches or larger in size. This material is commonly used for erosion control, drainage systems, retaining walls, and heavy-duty driveways or access roads. Its large size provides excellent stability, making it ideal for reinforcing shorelines, riverbanks, and slopes to prevent soil erosion. It also allows for superior water drainage while maintaining structural integrity in high-traffic or high-impact areas.

Coverage per Ton

One ton of 3"+ limestone typically covers approximately:

• 40-60 square feet at a 4-6 inch depth
• 30-40 square feet at a 6-8 inch depth
